The Oregon Coast is special to me, as it is to many that live in Portland. With it being only about 1.5 hours away, it is an escape from the city, but it is also frequently an escape from reality. It is one of the places I go to recharge, a break from work and home. A place to relax, unwind, dip my toes in water, and watch nature go by. There is amazing hiking, horseback riding, shell collecting, and sunset watching. I love taking my camera and photographing the beauty found there.
